Telephone Town Hall

On Tuesday, June 29, I had the pleasure of hosting a Telephone Town Hall to help residents find answers to their most pressing questions about the COVID-19 vaccines. More than 3,200 people joined us by phone and even more joined online – the highest turn-out in the City to-date.

I held the event in collaboration with neighbouring Ward 16 Councillor Denzil Minnan-Wong, and we were joined by Dr. Na-Koshie Lamptey, Toronto's Associate Medical Officer of Health, as well as Chief Matthew Pegg, General Manager of the Office of Emergency Management, and several representatives from community agencies.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to all those who asked engaged and thoughtful questions about the COVID-19 vaccines. For more information on how to get vaccinated, please visit www.toronto.ca/covid19.
