New ASE Unit Coming to Don Valley West
During the next scheduled rotation, the City will install a new Automated Speed Enforcement (ASE) unit on Blythwood Road.
At City Hall, I have been a long-standing proponent of ASE, helping pave the way to implement the program in School Safety Zones across Toronto. Over the last few years, City Council has expanded the program from 50 to 75 locations, with plans underway to purchase another 75 units.
You can find a map of every ASE location in Toronto on the City's website, here. To learn more about how the ASE program is improving road safety, check out this article from my last newsletter.
