Metrolinx Introduces PRESTO to Google Wallet

As of November 14, PRESTO card users can store and tap their digital card using Google Wallet to pay their fare. This virtual option also allows users to immediately load funds to their digital card, receive instant balance updates, load transit passes, and more.

There is no issuance fee, and PRESTO card holders will continue to receive the same savings as a physical card. This new feature is available across ten transit systems, including the TTC, GO Transit, and the UP Express. Visit the PRESTO website for more details or to configure your digital card.

Since the launch of open payment on the TTC earlier this year, transit riders now have several convenient options to pay their fare – such as tapping a credit, debit, or mobile payment method while boarding.
