The Future of the Ontario Science Centre

For over 50 years, the Ontario Science Centre has been a beloved local institution attracting millions of visitors from across the Province. Designed by the legendary architect Ray Moriyama, it remains one of the key Toronto cultural landmarks and tourist destinations located outside of the downtown core.

A few weeks ago, the Provincial Government announced plans to relocate the Ontario Science Centre to the Ontario Place grounds—prior to any consultation with impacted communities or City Council. As always, I believe that public consultation must take place before decisions are made that impact our neighbourhoods and I am deeply concerned about the current plans.

I would encourage you to share your thoughts on the Ontario Science Centre with our local MPP, Stephanie Bowman.
