Locke Library Closes for Renovations on February 10
The Toronto Public Library will be temporarily closing the Locke branch for approximately 12-18 months to begin undertaking extensive renovations, beginning February 10. The renovations will include:
Revitalized children’s and teen areas;
Refreshed seating and tables;
Modernized library layout for easier access to resources; and
Improved accessibility throughout the building.
Drop-off boxes will be closed and holds will be transferred to the Northern District branch, but customers have the option to transfer holds to another location. While renovations take place, the following nearby branches are open:
Barbara Frum branch | 20 Covington Road
Don Mills branch | 888 Lawrence Avenue East
Leaside branch | 165 McRae Drive
Northern District branch | 40 Orchard View Boulevard
