Traffic Solutions Begin with Public Input

Traffic and congestion is a long standing and serious problem across the Ward. In many ways, it is a carry on effect from the significant intensification pressure facing our neighbourhoods.

Three years of hard work on traffic problems has taught me there are no quick fixes – traffic regulations have  neighbourhood-wide implications.

That is why the road to traffic fixes begins and ends with local participation and input, bringing neighbours together around the same table to identify problems and brainstorm solutions.

That is why I have been organizing traffic forums across the ward throughout the early fall, from Don Mills to Banbury to Bedford Park to Denlow to Mt. Pleasant!

Please do not hesitate to bring any and all traffic-related issues to my office’s attention and we can get moving on solutions!
