Windfields Park is Completed!

This year, the City undertook a project to upgrade the existing bridge, trail, and path in Windfields Park. Work started in late August and I'm pleased to advise that it wrapped up earlier this month!

The walkway and bridge from Misty Crescent to Banbury Road has been replaced and the walkway along the river was realigned away from the bank to avoid further erosion and maintenance issues.

Due to the late season completion date, staff will monitor grass seed germination and complete any leftover turf work in the spring.
