Environment Days
Unfortunately, the City made the difficult decision to once again cancel this year's Environment Days in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. This news is particularly disappointing as the Ward 15 Environment Days are among the most well-attended in Toronto.
Instead, the City will be hosting 14 drive-thru Community Environment Days in September and October. These events provide an opportunity to properly dispose of a variety of household items, including clothing, small appliances, and electronics. You can also safely dispose of household hazardous waste, pick up free compost, and bring books, sports equipment, and clothing for donation.
If you're interested in attending one of these events, the four closest to Ward 15 are:
Sunday, September 12 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Dufferin Transfer Station (35 Vanley Crescent)
Sunday, September 12 from 1:00pm to 5:00pm at the Bermondsey Transfer Station (188 Bermondsey Road)
Sunday, September 26 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Dufferin Transfer Station (35 Vanley Crescent)
Sunday, October 24 from 10:00am to 2:00pm at the Bermondsey Transfer Station (188 Bermondsey Road)
