Responsible Dog Ownership in Toronto

The City of Toronto is reminding residents to always leash dogs in public – especially when visiting beaches, parks, and other public facilities. Keeping your dog leashed helps prevent accidents and ensures the safety of those around you.

The City provides 75 designated Off Leash Dog Areas in parks across Toronto, which you can find listed here. For more information about responsible dog ownership, including best practices, please visit: www.toronto.ca/DogsInTheCity.
