TTC Implements the "One-Fare" Payment Program

The TTC has joined Ontario's One-Fare program to simplify fare payments across multiple transit systems, such as York Regional transit, the TTC, GO Transit, and more. Through Metrolinx, the One-Fare program will reimburse riders for a single ride on the TTC when transferring from another transit system.

For riders transferring between the TTC and other municipal transit agencies, the two-hour transfer will apply. 100% of fares paid by PRESTO card, digital mobile wallet, or Credit and Debit card will be eligible for reimbursement, while fares paid by cash or token will not be eligible under the program.

As of now, the One-Fare program will be in effect from early 2024 until March 2026.
